Phew! It’s been a long time in development, but I’m pleased to finally tell you all about my latest project: working on the design and development for Riot Magazine, a new online publication catering towards the alternative indie/rock music scene (as well as interesting features and news from across the web).

I’m excited to announce that the second issue of vis/res is now available to order! Yet again expertly designed and curated by my friend Craig Matchett (supernovi.co.uk), issue 2 aims to expand upon the established format and features contributions by 10 fantastic designers and illustrators.
As before, I’ve been responsible for updating the website and taking the promotional photographs below – Enjoy!
Here are a few recent editorial illustrations I was asked to produce for Newton – an Italian science magazine designed by Leftloft in Milan. I’ll post some photos of the published work just as soon as I can get my hands on a copy!

The first issue of vis/res is now on sale! Visit the website to learn more and order you own limited edition copy.
Here are a few photos to show just how lovely it is
vis/res (visual resonance) is the name of a new up-and-coming zine which aims to showcase emerging talent in graphic design and illustration. I had the pleasure of coding a small introductory web page, which can be found here – so stay tuned for updates as well as new blog which will run in parallel to the publication.
I was asked to submit an illustration as a contribution for the first issue. So, I put on my thinking hat, and came up the following piece entitled ‘fools rush in’ -

Things are really beginning to take shape in the garden despite being late in the season. They must really love the city life!
